She was predeceased by: her parents, James Valek and Agnes Valek; her daughter Shelly Laciskey; and her sisters, Katie Choquet and Grace (Dick Knutson).
She is survived by: her sons, Craig (Kristi Pexa), Jay (Jenny Pexa), Todd (Julie Pexa) and Paul Pexa (Linda Biehn); her brother Leonard; and her sister-in-law Gerry Valek. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one on the way, and 4 step great grandchildren.
