He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bergman and Thelma Bergman; his stepfather Esko Kolkka; and his siblings, Harley Bergman and Alberta "Birdie" Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Bartlett; his children, Connie Stone (Chad) and Dale Bergman (Christine Mallory); his grandchildren, Sean Bergman, Steven Stone (Alli) and Kate Zibble (Drake); his great grandchildren, Sutton and Kyler Stone; and his siblings, Alden Bergman, Galen Bergman (Doreen) and Shelly Nelson (Jason). He is also survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mlaker Funeral Home (27 1st St E, Cook, MN 55723). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
