He is survived by: his children, Micheal Shanks (Amy), Elizabeth Shanks, Janiann Guzman and Jeffrey Shanks; his daughter-in-law Holly Wekseth (Tyler); his grandchildren, Emily, Howard, Breanna, Aliza, Easton, Natalee, Dalton and Preston; his siblings, Brad Shanks (Carol), Teresa Olson, Jr. (Marty), Cyn Shanks, Vicki Johnson (Doug) and Nancy Mellesmoen (Dave); his brother-in-law Daniel Perrine; and his aunt Shirlee Shanks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
