She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Johnson and Ione Johnson (Skraba); her brother Rocky Johnson; and her grandparents, Melvin, Marie Johnson, Pete and Irene Skraba.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Powers; her children, Shannon (Justin), Michelle and Derek; her stepchildren, Madeline (Zach) and Niles; her siblings, Pete Johnson (Penny), Jeff Johnson (Nena) and Rhonda Taylor (Travis); her grandchildren, Issac, Austin, Alexa, Jordan, Mahlia, Myles, Malachi Tayler, Silus, Oliver, Oden and Eden; and her pet Uno. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
