We bid farewell to Alan J. Kastanek of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Alan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cathryn Marie Gulden and Cleo Clifford Philippi; his adoptive father Jrwin A. Kastanek; his aunts and uncles, Leroy Gulden, Richard Wilkes, Laurence Janski, Jack Peterson, Richard West, Melvina Kastanek Janski, Jerrine Philippi West and Bonnie Philippi Peterson; and his brother-in-law Jim Cholensky, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Linda Lund; his sisters, Colleen Kastanek and Charlotte Gruber (Dan); his children, John Kastanek (Jana) and Andrianna Kastanek (Chris Buzachero); his stepdaughter Stacie Urban (Peter); his grandchildren, Jakob, Mitchell, Laura, Camille Kastanek, Luca, Emilia, Nicolas Buzachero, Delaney Janssen (Jeremy) and Liam Urban; his nieces and nephews, Ligeia, Stephanie Cholensky, Nick Gruber (Anna) and Tammy Becker (Travis); his aunts, Leora Gulden Wilkes and MaryAnn Hoheisel Gulden; and his former wives, Deborah Lind and Susan Stuckmayer.
