She was predeceased by: her father Reverend James "Bompa" Anderson; her brother Mark Anderson; her nephew Matthew Quist; and her pet Useless. She is survived by: her mother Wanda "Nana" Anderson (Zell); her former husband Bob Hamborg; her children, Michael Hamborg (Stephanie) and Molly Hamborg (Gabe Lee); and her sisters, Dede Anderson (Wayne Gebbie) and Kim Anderson.
