She was predeceased by : her husband Melvin August Schulte; her parents, Edwin Kiffmeyer and Marie Kiffmeyer (Schmidt); her siblings, Norman, Leonard, James Kiffmeyer and Rosyln; and her son Joseph Edwin Schulte.

She is survived by : her children, Joy Larson (Andy), Jill Lingwall (Curt), Scott Schulte (Jan), Mark Schulte (Sue), Jodi McNellis (Pete) and Dave Schulte (Kim). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
