It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Stuart Galinski of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Galinski and Betty Galinski (Bergquist). He is survived by: his wife Betty Nickila of Coon Rapids; his daughter Paula Johnson (Kevin) of Fridley; his siblings, Terri Cherra (Rick) of Kansas City, MO, Patty Hernesman (John) of Gilbert, AZ and John Galinski (Barb) of Elk River; and his grandchildren, Jake Johnson (Megan) of Broken Arrow, OK, Luke Johnson (Annika) of Minneapolis and Kyle Johnson of Fridley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
