It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Wayne Claypool of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Claypool and Ramona Claypool; Diane Wallace (Mike) of Braham, Minnesota.. He is survived by: his wife Lislie Claypool (Lidke); his daughters, Corrin Secrist and Mackenzie Gerding (John); his granddaughters, Gracia Forbis, Emelia Gerding and Eleanor Gerding; and his brothers, Donald Claypool and Richard Claypool.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (11115 Hanson Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
