He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Warkentin and Verna Warkentin (Deckert); his sister Elanor Flaming; his niece Gail Flaming; and his nephew Merlin Flaming.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Jean Buller; his children, Colleen Graber (Tim), Sharon Compton (Jeff) and Dylan Warkentin (Sonja); his sister Doris George (Tom); his grandchildren, Brian Graber (Sarah), Rachel Van Epps (Dain), Daniel Compton, Isaac Compton, Jacob Warkentin (Marie), Jordan Warkentin, Lindsey Barbosa (Ronaldo) and Grant Warkentin; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Avery, Martin Graber, Caleb, Silas Van Epps, Micah and Ezra Warkentin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pathways Community Church (6341 167th Ave NW, Anoka, MN 55303). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cornerstone Church.
