The memory of John Joseph Wolkerstorfer of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanne; his brother Ted; and his son-in-law Jeff Hommes. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Beth Hommes, Susan Hommes (Joe) and John Wolkerstorfer (Shannon); his grandsons, Beau (Katy), Michael (Hannah), Peter, Sam, David and Martin; his great grandchildren, Henry, Kit and Ben; his sister Marree Boland; and his siblings-in-law, Don Pink (Carol) and Meredith Wolkerstorfer. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Epiphany (1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. John's University, Collegeville, MN for the Class of 1964 Scholarship or Cretin-Derham Hall, St. Paul, MN for the Cretin Class of 1960 Scholarship Endowment.
