He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Schmitt and Beverly Schmitt; and his siblings, Susan Larson, Mary Jo Gilbertson and David Schmitt.
He is survived by: his wife Teena; his daughters, Elizabeth Schmitt and Courtney Sturges (T. J.); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jack and Anthony Sturges; and his sister Daine Laue (Charles).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Radisson Road Baptist Church (13627 Radisson Rd NE, Ham Lake, MN 55304). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
