It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Elizabeth Bren of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Kollasch and Elizabeth "Betty" Kollasch. She is survived by: her husband David Bren; her daughters, Rebecca Foster (Chris) and Gena Helmuth; her grandchildren, Samantha Foster, Travis Sjurseth (Rachel), Hannah Foster, Michael David Helmuth and Noah Foster; and her siblings, Carol Reilly (Bill), Chuck Kollasch (Jane), Rob Kollasch (Linda) and Ginj Schneider (Doug). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
