Stephen Beard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Beard of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Beard and Eilene Beard; and his former wife Sandra Beard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Flesner Beard; his children, Brian of Norristown, PA, Sean (Mariah) of Salem, MA and Jennifer Ferst (Adam); his sisters, Lynne Burke (Graham) of Orangeville, ON and Janice Cannizzo of Fort Worth, FL; his stepchildren, John Gualdoni (Beeta) of Woodbury, MN, Jamie Gualdoni (Tara) of Maple Grove, MN and AnnaMary Gualdoni-Smith (Derek) of May Township, MN.; and his grandchildren, Bella, Gianna, Isaac, Keira, Gia and Piper.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Luke Lutheran Church (7000 Hinton Ave S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016).
