He is survived by: his children, Eric, Julie (Stephen Bien) and Kory (Gwen); his brother Lyman Steil (Manny); and his grandchildren, Keisha, Karoline, Rhyan, Sam, Toni and Reese.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:30 PM and from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM.
