With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Dean Gritman (Cottonwood, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gritman and Florence Gritman (Graves); and his children, Brian Gritman and Shelley Gritman. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Gritman of Cottonwood; his children, Vicky Baumann of Minneota, Deborah Sik (Dan) of Minneota, Robert Jr. Gritman (Joan) of Rochester, Allen Gritman (Dana) of Olympia, WA, Lesley Quan and Michael Gritman (Jen) of Sartell; his grandchildren, Meagan Yackley (Josh), Derek Sik (Sarah), Joe Sik, Dustin Sik (Cindy), Desiree Skipton, Jake Sik, Noelle Gritman, Alexander Gritman, Meredith Gritman, Sierra Quan, Andrew Gritman and Malachi Gritman; his great grandchildren, Camilla, Lillian, Seth, Roman, Elizabeth, Emily, Sophia and Quinn; and his sister Betty Stassen (Frances) of Marshall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Avera Cancer Center or Avera Home Hospice in Marshall.
