With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen M. Bode of Courtland, Minnesota, born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, who passed away on April 10, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Forster and Agnes Forster (Wiltscheck); her son Chad; and her siblings, Jean Janni (Al), Thomas, Louis "Butch", Richard "Dick" and Bobby.

She is survived by : her sons, Jeffrey (Angie) and Christopher; her husband Gary Bode; her daughters, Becky Wagner (Dave) and Cindy Petersen (Brian); her daughter-in-law Skye Bode; her grandchildren, Chelsey Christensen (Justin), Katelyn Stein (Scott), Kristina Petersen, Karissa Bode, Taylor Freese (Grant), Alyssa Wagner, Amber Petersen, Andrew Boeser, Emily Bode, Evan Bode and Lily Bode; her great grandchildren, Henessy, Brynley, Kaelynn, Halen, Carter, Kinslee, Jackson, Sawyer and Hadley; and her sisters, Diane Braulick (Ron) and Joleen Earl (Jerry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
