He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Hill and Tyyne Hill; and his son-in-law Dr. Philip McManis. He is survived by: his wife Carole Kingsley of Cromwell; his children, Dean of Rosebud, Montana, Tamera of Sydney and Lisa of Fairbanks, Alaska; his grandchildren, Amanda McManis (Dan), Megan Meares (Shaun), Jessica McManis, Geoffrey McManis (Lily) and Simon McManis (Ji Ye); his great grandchild Alexander Meares; and his sister Irene Johnson. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (5609 MN-210, Cromwell, MN 55726). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He took great pride in his profession, wiring and servicing many homes and businesses throughout the area and leaving a lasting contribution to the community he loved.
