With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Arlene Schipper of Crookston, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Arlene left this world on October 10, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred P Johnson and Gladys Strand Johnson; her husband Bobby Jack Schipper; her stepmother Adeline Johnson; her siblings, Gordon Johnson (Dorothy), David Johnson, Darrel Johnson and Lois Schultz (DuWayne); her siblings-in-law, Billy Schipper, Dorothy Demaris (Adolph), Audrey DeLude (Clarence), Ethel Sondrol (Willis), Angela Beattie (Sonny) and Jackie Burke (Alden); and her son-in-law Robert Reetz.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Schnedler (Timothy Lehrer) of Minnetonka, MN, Bryan Schipper (Roberta) of Mentor, MN, Bruce Schipper of Crookston, MN, Danelle Reetz of Crookston, MN and DeLynn Hegre (Paul) of Eagan, MN; her grandchildren, Zac Schnedler (Abby), Chloe Schipper, Abbey Machado (Jordan), Benjamin Schipper (Breanna Smith) and Miah Broderson (Jesse); her great grandchildren, Isley Machado, Nieve Machado, Griffin Schnedler, Grayson Schnedler, Levi Schipper, Waylon Broderson, Isla Broderson and Remi Freedberg; her brothers, Wesley Johnson (Di) of Aloha, OR and Kevin Johnson (Janelle) of Portugal; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Johnson of Grand Prairie, TX and Marvelyn Johnson of McIntosh, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home (615 S Minnesota St, Crookston, MN 56716). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to HIA Hospice or St Paul's Lutheran Church.
