She was predeceased by : her son Daniel; her parents, Carl Arness and Ida Arness; and her brothers, Ron Arness (Lou Ann) and Bill Arness.

She is survived by : her son Brent (Erika); her husband John Brent Evenson; her close friend Aaron Lagasse; her grandchildren, Kryton Mesrour, Silas Evenson and Vera Evenson; and her siblings, Dorothy Laliberte of Coon Rapids, MN, Paul Arness (Rozzie) of King City, CA and Julie Keener of Novato, CA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.

Monica Beauchene wrote a sympathy message

“I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear wife and mother, and grandmother. Cookie and I went to school together since 7th grade and graduated in the same class in 1964. She and I lived together after high school until I got married. I had some of the best laughs with her. She was always so delightful and fun. I can't make it to the funeral today, however I will watch the service and be there with all of you. Sending my deepest sympathy. Monica Plante Beauchene”
