He is survived by: his children, Brian Schlapkohl of Hendrum, MN and Dawn Paulsrud (Jeremy) of Hillsboro, ND; his grandchildren, Laura, Emma, Jack and Allyson; and his siblings, Darwin Schlapkohl, Daryl Schlapkohl of Lake Benton, MN, Daniel Schlapkohl and Carolyn Willert of Brookings, SD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
