He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Engelstad and Edythe Engelstad (Ruthenberg); his wife Yvonne Einess; his sister Judith Semeling (Bernard); and his close friend Gail Watnemo.
He is survived by: his children, Darin Engelstad (Kaylin) and Kristi Bowling (James); his grandchildren, Kyli Altepeter (Jaden) and Grace Jones (Hunter); and his great grandchildren, Brooks, Elliott, Cal Altepeter and Flora Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials in DuWayne's name go to your favorite Animal Rescue or the American Cancer Society.
