He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Langer and Caroline Brietzke Langer; and his sister Janet Langer. He is survived by: his wife Karen Thompson; his daughters, Amy Johnston (Chris) of Kindred, ND and Ashley Langer (Wyatt Remmick) of Kindred, ND; his grandchildren, Colten Johnston, Cayden Johnston, Brooklyn Remmick and Beau Remmick; his brothers, Ron Langer (Debby) of Janesville, WI and Larry Langer (Sandy) of Madison, WI; his parents-in-law, Glen and Lois Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Kim Seaton (Bryan) and Kevin Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home (615 S Minnesota St, Crookston, MN 56716). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
