It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Plante formerly of Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ovilla Plante and Annette Plante (Lessard); his son Allan James; his granddaughter Nicole; and his siblings, Dennis, Merle, Keith and Eileen.
He is survived by : his children, Dianne Klaus (Bob) of Jacksonville, FL, Richard Plante (Kris) of Cadott, WI, Rhonda Von Drashek (Beau) of Vero Beach, FL, Jaime Plante of Wyoming, MN and Jacki Anderson (Brian) of Cincinnati, OH.; his grandchildren, Alexa, Brandon, Lauren, Nick, Kari, Tayler, Abbie, Peyton, Caleb, Cora and Dylan; and his siblings, Lowell Plante (Joyce), Lenore Perreault of Grand Rapids, MN and Monica Beauchene (Larry) of The Villages, FL.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church.
