She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Bratrud and Lulu Bratrud (Peltier); her daughter Joan; her son-in-law Mark Menge; her brother John "Jack" Bratrud; her brother-in-law Daniel "Jim" Buckmiller; her parents-in-law, Harold and Lucille Thomforde; her stepmother-in-law Nellie Jefferson Thomforde; and her sister-in-law Audrey Turnlund (Stanley).
She is survived by : her sister Norma; her husband John Arthur Thomforde; her children, Jody Menge (Dennis Lafleur) of Crookston, MN, Jana Biermaier (Steve) of Crookston, MN and James Thomforde (Shelly) of Crookston, MN; her son-in-law Paul Mercil; and her grandchildren, Angela Menge (Brett Meyer), Jason Menge (Jessica), Jeffrey Menge (Tonya), Eric Biermaier (Tiffany), Lukas Biermaier (Heidi), Nickolas Biermaier (Taylor), Andrew Resendiz-Biermaier (Kennedy), Joshua, Zachary, Ethan Mercil (Haley), Nathan Thomforde (Heaven) and Isaac Thomforde. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
