He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia "Pat" Sullivan Nimens and Wilfred Charles Nimens; and his brothers, William Patrick "Billy Pat" Nimens and Thomas "Tuna" Charles Nimens. He is survived by: his partner Shawn Hogenson of Crookston, MN; his siblings, Julianne Rubley (Tim), MaryJane Coe (Brian) of Naples, FL and Jay Nimens (Cyndy); his sister-in-law Wendy Hanson Nimens of Erie, CO; and his nieces and nephews, Tate Rubley (Jeni Kay), Trisha Krantz (Jordan), Tana Bustamante (Michael), Ross Nimens (Beth), Paul Nimens (Nicole), Jenny Magenis (Tom), Brad Coe (Alex), Reid Nimens, Ty Nimens (Chloe) and Ethan Nimens (Wendy).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (702 Summit Ave N, Crookston, MN 56716). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
