He is survived by: his wife Catherine Trandem of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Danelle Mello (Emmanuel) of Crookston, MN, Amanda Trandem (Izaac Jacobson) of Fargo, ND and Luke Trandem (Lydia) of Arthur, ND.; and his sister Sheri Altepeter (Phil).
