He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schipper and Sylvia Schipper (Frisbie); his brothers, Burl and Dale Schipper; his half-sisters, Josephine Raymond and Vernadine McIver; his nephews, Scott and Todd Schipper; Jack and Eula Segler.
He is survived by: his wife June Marion Segler of Dothan; his children, Ila Martinez (Luis) of Wylie, TX, Quinn Schipper (Becky) of Stillwater, OK, Vana Buckland (Peter) of Webb City, MO and Leah Hanson (Steve) of Council Grove, KS; his grandchildren, Brenna Kelley of Wylie, TX, Casey Pahlen (Sarah) of Ft. Worth, TX, Skylar Schipper of Carlsbad, CA, Audrey Buckland of Baltimore, MD, Austin Buckland (Leah) and Alex Buckland of Webb City, MO; his great grandchildren, Naomi Kelley (Tyler Stiles), Savannah, Karma Kelley, Madison, Katelyn June and Taylor Pahlen; his great great grandchild Nathan Stiles; his sister LaVada Hanson of Detroit Lakes, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Walda Schipper of St. Louis Park, MN, Audrey Schipper Murphy of Scottsdale, AZ and Sid B. Segler of Palm Bay, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given in Vance's memory to the Church of Christ or a charity of your choice.
