He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabel June Ankerson (George Joseph Zeitler) and George Zeitler; and his brother Thomas Zeitler. He is survived by: his wife Connie Scott; his siblings, Kenneth "Frog" Zeitler (Joy), Patricia "Putz" Schaal (Ben), David "Moke" Zeitler, James "Jim" Zeitler, Kathy Tuschy (Larry), Joseph "Joe" Zeitler (Cindy) and Hazel Butler; his children, Christopher Zeitler (Joelle), Scott Zeitler, Rebecca Carr (Jeremy), Marie Janssen (Bryan) and Jody Zeitler (Esther); his grandchildren, Zera, Olive, Judah and Cedar Carr; and his sons, Peter and Nathan Janssen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Harold's memory to Let's Go Fishing, a nonprofit organization where Harold volunteered his time.
