He is survived by: his wife Penny Abbott; his niece Trisha Abbott; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Braydon of Crosby and Elyjah Abbott of Crosby; his nephew Justin Abbott (Kelsie); his great-nephews, Dylan and Mike Valiquet (Lisa); his great-niece Alyssa Abbott of Brainerd; his brother Don Valiquet (Lynn) of Brainerd; his sister-in-law Kris Abbott of Ironton; Sydney and Sophia Valiquet of Blaine.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Taconite Canteen (240 Curtis Ave, Ironton, MN 56455).
