He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Austin and Lois Austin (Pritchard); his wife Lucille; his siblings, Sylvia Heglund, Bernice Berg and Manny Austin; and his close friend Patty Skinner.
He is survived by: his son Greg; his daughter-in-law Cathy; and his son Chip. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
