He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Stenehjem and Helen Stenehjem (Sobieck); his siblings, Richard, Jeanette Myhre, Gladys Walus and Donald Stenehjem; his siblings-in-law, Richard Walus, Henry Myhre and Cean Frost; his nephew Tyler Stenehjem; and his parents-in-law, Dona and Ross Kutil.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughter Elizabeth Urang (Travis); his stepchildren, Michelle Wharton (Jason) and D. J. Block; his grandchildren, Mikaela, Jaelyn, Cade, Kristina, David and Casey; and his brother Ralph. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
