He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Schewe and Thelma Schewe (Werner); and his brother Herb. He is survived by: his wife Barb; his sons, Jonathan and Daniel (Alexis); his siblings, Margaret (Roger) and Leslie (Joan); his sister-in-law Sharon; his grandsons, Sam and Ben; and his stepgrandchildren, Andrew and Chumani.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cross Lutheran Church (13716 Co Rd 103, Crosslake, MN 56442). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross Lutheran Church (17716 Co Rd 103, Crosslake, MN 56442). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery (12480 430th Ave, Blue Earth, MN 56013).
Memorials are preferred to Whitefish Senior Living, St. Croix hospice, or Mission of the Cross Lutheran Church.
