He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine O'Donnell (Prasch); his parents, Joseph O'Donnell and Margaret O'Donnell (Hill); and his great grandchild Noah James O'Donnell. He is survived by: his children, Shelly Boles (Bill), Jeff O'Donnell (Chris) and Tom O'Donnell (Melissa); his grandchildren, Holly Downing (Ed), Adam Boles (Karen), Ryan O'Donnell (Nikki), Aaron O'Donnell (Sarah), Lauren Lowry (Dave), Nick O'Donnell (Liz), Kelley Weidell (Chris) and Jack O'Donnell; and his brother Terence O'Donnell (Alice).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials go to Immaculate Heart Church Endowment Fund or City of Breezy Point Pelican Woods Cemetery.
