He was predeceased by: his father Ralph William Sr.; his grandmother Shafer; his wife Carole Godfredsen; his parents-in-law, Hjalmer and Mildred Godfredsen; and his siblings, Bob Taylor, Kathryn Shaw, Donald Taylor and Eva Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Taylor (Cheri) of Chico, CA, Tami Nelson (Jim) of Elk River, MN, Becky Nelson (Ron) of Crosslake, MN and Bart Taylor (Lisa) of Crosslake, MN; his grandchildren, Amanda Taylor, Kirsten Taylor, Ian Nelson, Ross Nelson (Naomi), Reed Nelson (Krista), Hannah Taylor and Millie Taylor; his great grandchildren, Rivers, Selah and Jade Nelson; his brothers, Dennis Taylor (LaVonne) and Jerome Taylor (Phyllis); and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Taylor, Joy Haller and Howard Peterson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crosslake Lutheran Church (35960 Co Rd 66, Crosslake, MN 56442). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Options Inc., supporting disabled adults and his grandson, Ian Nelson.
