It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Gasta of Dassel, Minnesota, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cheney and Carolyn Cheney (Blakeney); her son Anthony Gasta; her daughter-in-law Julie Gasta; and her siblings, Mark Cheney and Margaret Lee Cheney.
She is survived by: her partner Jerry Danielson of Dassel; her son David Gasta of Delano; her grandchildren, Peyton Gasta, Grayson Gasta, Nolan Gasta, Cailin Gasta and Kenna Gasta; and her siblings, Debra Landers of Grand Rapids, Vicki Ellingson (Tim) of Belview, Lisa Cheney of Maple Lake, Paul Cheney of Fargo and George Cheney of Fargo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (611 2nd St, Dassel, MN 55325).
