He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Brunner and Anna Brunner (Hohler); his sisters, Karen Sell and Sharon Williamson; his parents-in-law, Bernard and Helma Stokke; and his siblings-in-law, Beulah Lindquist (Earl) and Duane Stokke.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon; his brothers, Phillip Brunner (Joyce) of Waconia, MN, Jon Brunner (Marcia) of Washington and Mike Brunner (Kathy) of Glenwood, MN; his siblings-in-law, Robert Williamson of Aurora, CO and Donna Stokke of Edina, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Faye Koepke (Jim), Julie Bunch (Bill), Beth Wacholz (John), Kim Sell (Missy), Scott Sell (Vicki), Rob Williamson and Chris Williamson (Kristen). He is also survived by special friends the Aeikens family, several great-nieces, great nephews, and many other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Reformed Church (217 N 17th St, Montevideo, MN 56265). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at the Clarkfield City Cemetery (430th St, Minnesota).
