We bid farewell to Phyllis Kemen (Dawson, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 29, 2026 at the age of 88. Phyllis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Martinson and Alice Martinson (Erickson); her husband Bob of Michael's Catholic Church; and her brothers, Donald Martinson, Vernon Martinson and James "Clem" Martinson.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Kemen (Desrae) of Dawson, David Kemen (Sheri) of Madison, Gary Kemen (Tobi) of Dawson and Ann Jenson (Allan) of Dawson; her grandchildren, Amanda Thole (Andrew), Katie Jenson, Brady Kemen, Marissa Schreur (Jerred), Alyssa Erickson (Tyler), Brock Kemen (Carolyn), Sadie Kemen, Landon Kemen and Hattie Kemen; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Elliott, Emmett Thole, Roman and Blake Erickson; and her sister-in-law Jane Martinson of Dawson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home (718 Chestnut St, Dawson, MN 56232). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (716 8th St, Dawson, MN 56232).
