She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Neuman and Mary Neuman; her husband Dave Mellen; and her brothers, Vince, Bern and Art Neuman.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Wirtz (Bev), Tim Wirtz and Lisa Holstrom (Jack); her stepchildren, Katy Beste, David Mellen (Wendy) and Kent Mellen (Catherine); and her grandchildren, Kelsey, Garrett Holstrom, Peter, Molly, Lindsey Beste, Gabriela Mellen, Philippe, Alek and Konrad Mellen. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and many much loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church of Deephaven (18323 Minnetonka Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St Therese Catholic Church (18323 Minnetonka Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Doctors Without Borders.
