He was predeceased by: his wife DeVona Thompson; his parents, Gladys Thompson and Albin Thompson; his siblings, Morgan Thompson (Marilyn), Lorraine Wubbels (Wallace), Gwen Majerus (Frank) and Ardith; and his brother-in-law Robert Olson.
He is survived by: his sister Berdelle Olson; his children, Michael Thompson (Shari) and Amy Johnson (Dallas); and his grandchildren, Austin and Avalon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the David Lee Funeral Chapel (1220 Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
