He is survived by: his grandchildren, Simon, Rollag, Rummikub, Marie and Gator; his wife Marie; his daughters, Christy Brinkman (Bob), Julia Snyder (David) and Melody Jahnke (Keith); his grandchildren, Bel, Ryan, Charli, Emma, Gabriel and Gavin; his siblings, Harris Bendix (Shirley) and Sandra Maloney; and his brother-in-law Charlie Hinders (Sandra).
