He is survived by : his son Nick; his former life partner Kathleen Saelens; his stepsons, Mark Lenaghan (Denise), Andy Lenaghan (Kris) of Adel, IA, Eamonn Lenaghan (Melanie) of Appleton, WI and Aaron Lenaghan of Granite City, IL.; and his brothers, Randy Cary (Deb) and Rod (Beth) of Sherrard, IL..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Special Olympics of Itasca County.
