She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Cartwright and Lillian Cartwright (Grossell); her brothers, Larry, Bob and Rollie Cartwright; her sister-in-law Esther Cartwright; and her nieces and nephews, Sandy Surface and Steven Gibbs.
She is survived by: her spouse Delano Gibbs; her children, Cindy Hughes (Steve), Lori Benke (Scott) and Robert Gibbs (Gale); and her sister-in-law Sharon Cartwright. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews & cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carroll Funeral Home (314 Main Ave E, Deer River, MN 56636). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
