He is survived by: his wife Barb; his daughters, Karyl DeWitt (Mike), Barbie Skyles (Brett) and Sherry Serfling (Bubba Allen); his grandchildren, Tyler DeWitt (Lindsey), Hannah DeWitt, Jake Skyles (Alex), Ashlynn Skyles (Matt Riehle), Brett Jr. Skyles (Emma), Mataya Christie, Rylee Christie, Keauna Christie and Laneden Serfling; his great grandchildren, Kasen DeWitt, Ryland DeWitt, Elliot Troumbly and Saylor Troumbly; his siblings, Lynette Tibbetts, Karyl Hawes (Mike) and Jack Serfling; and his brothers-in-law, Rudy Prazak, Bucko Hagen and Ron Geving. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and seven godchildren.
