It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vicky Lee Bakkedahl of Deer River, Minnesota, born in Zumbrota, Minnesota, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy Carl Busby and Pearl Audren Busby; and her husband Russ Bakkedahl of Riley's Cannibal Junction. She is survived by : her son Ben Nelson (Jamie); her stepchildren, Jon Bakkedahl (Jennifer), Scott Yoki (September), Tom Bakkedahl (Laura) and Jennifer Calhoun (Mike); and her close friend Scott Peterson.
