It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Goodwin (Deerwood, Minnesota), who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Goodwin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Johnson and Mildred Johnson; her husband Dr. Daniel W. Goodwin; her son Jeffrey; her aunt Lorraine; her uncle Ardell Jeffrey; her brother Maynard Johnson; and her grandparents, Peder and Lena Pederson.

She is survived by: her children, Gayle Pund (Jamie) of Burnsville, MN, David Goodwin (Monica) of Deerwood, MN, Julie Rife (Daran) of Arvada, CO and Jenny Heintz (Wade) of Savage, MN; her nephew James Goodwin (Pam) of Lynn Haven, FL.; and her grandchildren, Daniel Pund, Kaylene Zickmund, Ceciley Potts, Jacob Goodwin, Will Goodwin, Annie Severson, Teresa Goodwin, Danny Goodwin, Jordan Rife, Emily Heintz, Rachel Heintz, Makaila Goodwin and Caleb Goodwin. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial are preferred to Salem Lutheran Outreach.
