He is survived by: his wife Jan of Detroit Lakes, MN; his sons, Bobby Bauer, Mackenzie Schram, Leon, Quinn and Connor; his grandchildren, Jalyn Bauer (Brett Besenfelder), Fargo, Tate Bauer of Minneapolis, MN, Brady Bauer and Horace; his brother Terry Bauer (Kathy) of Herried, SD; and his sister-in-law Joanne Bauer of Herried, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
