She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Loewen (Abe) and Katie Loewen (Krahn); her husband Neil; her siblings, Lois Heck, Arnold Loewen and Dennis Loewen; and her siblings-in-law, Annette Loewen, Marlys Loewen, Becky Tande and Duane Heck.

She is survived by: her children, Norman Olson (Kris), Nadine Harris (Edward) and Nathan Olson (Amy); her grandchildren, Michael Olson (Sam), Steven Olson, Shane Olson (Jeana), Ein Harris, Collin Harris (Sadie), Macey Olson and Nickolas Olson; her great grandchildren, Lola Harris, Miles Harris, Kayson Olson and Dawson Olson; her siblings, Kenneth Loewen and Audry Doyle (Skip); and her brother-in-law Marlyn Tande.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the David-Donehower Funeral & Cremation Service (609 US-10, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fargo National Cemetery (8709 40th Ave NW, Harwood, ND 58042).

Her & Neil collected clothes out of the DAV bins for years for charity.
