She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Carlson and Annabelle Carlson (Erickson); and her siblings, Alice, Joe, Dan, Bill and Elise.
She is survived by: her husband Lyle of Detroit Lakes; her children, Todd Shepard of Detroit Lakes, Jamie Carlson of Lake Park and Dawn Shepard of Dent; and her sisters, Deanna Walin and Lauri High.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the VFW Post 1676 (500 N Washington Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501).
