It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donna Joy Erickson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Sather and Inga Sather (Jorgenson); her sisters, Deloris Sather and Judy Horst; her brothers-in-law, Stan Horst and Allen Erickson; and her parents-in-law, Wallace and Alice Erickson.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Erickson; her stepdaughters, Michelle Johnson of El Paso, TX and Jeanie Berns (Kevin) of Spearfish, SD; her grandsons, Chad, Chris (Jessica), Cody Johnson of El Paso, TX and Lukus Andringa of Fargo, ND; her great grandchild Shelby Johnson; and her friend Judy Anderson.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Richwood Lutheran Church (24129 250 St, Callaway, MN 56521). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Richwood Lutheran Cemetery (24129 250 St, Callaway, MN 56521).
